The database is a composite of information from a variety of sources, but most commonly consist of reviews of abstracts presented at recent scientific conferences.
1) Scientific Contributors review research from the various sources listed below
2) Relevant information is added into the database for review
3) The database manager reviews the information for content and quality and adds them to the database

As the area of HIV and the investigation of other infectious conditions continues to expand, so too does the list of conferences that are utilized in the updating of the PPMD. The list of conferences evaluated for specific drug interactions includes, but is not limited to the following:
